No More Day-Old Numbers: Balance Due Sync on Databricks

For years, the balance due for CPMG participation records was calculated inside SQL Server from a periodically restored A2Z backup, so the numbers were always at least a day old. This white paper explains how we migrated that sync from SQL Server to Databricks. It uses REST API ingestion, a medallion architecture and a calculation engine that can be queried at every step. Salesforce is updated only when a value has actually changed, and every update is logged and emailed to the business team. Business users can also push a single company and event on demand through a Microsoft Fabric notebook.
